By making a booking with Number 68 you will be deemed to have accepted that these Terms and Conditions take precedence over any other terms and conditions contained on or in any letter, purchase order, email or the like received by us in connection with the booking and that any such other terms and conditions will not form part of the Contract between Number 68 and you. No variation or addition to these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless agreed in writing by Number 68.
Number 68 is the trading name of the proprietor - Amanda Meek of 68 Oxman Lane, Greenleys, Milton Keynes, MK12 6LF. "We," "Us" or "Our" refers to Number 68, and "You" or "Your" refers to the user. "Website" means any website posted by Number 68 on the World Wide Web.
When making a boooking for room(s), we will require your contact details, including name, postal and email address, telephone number, estimated check-in time and a deposit of 50% to secure the booking, or the full amount for a one-night stay in advance.
We accept payment by credit or debit card, PayPal or for bookings made more than 7 days in advance of the arrival date, Electronic Banking Transfer, please ask for further details. Cheques (issued by UK Banks) can be sent if you are booking more than 10 working days in advance, please make cheques payable to Number 68.
On booking accommodation with us, we will arrange a time for your arrival, so that we can have your room ready and arrange to be here to greet you. If your plans change or you are delayed, please agree a new time of arrival with us. Guests may check in between the hours of 16:00 and 19:00. Late and early check-in times can usually be accommodated but for the consideration of other guests, we ask that arrival times should be no later than 22:00 hours. If you arrive early we may be out or your room may not be ready; if you arrive late without informing us, we may have gone to be assuming that you have cancelled the reservation.
Please settle your account prior to departure, using cash, credit/debit card or PayPal. There are two cash points nearby.
Guests are asked to vacate their room by 10.30 am to allow time to prepare rooms for incoming guests.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You are recommended to have appropriate travel insurance. Please let us know as soon as you can of any changes to your reservation and notify Number 68 by telephone and confirm it in writing. If a cancellation is made, the proprietor must confirm it or else the customer will still be deemed to have a confirmed booking.
As a small business with a limited number of rooms, we regret that it is necessary to impose cancellation charges in accordance with the pro-rata scale below however Number 68 will attempt to re-let the accommodation and, if we are successful, we will refund the deposit less a cancellation fee of 25.00 pounds.
Within 10 days of the arrival or early departure, reservations must regretfully be charged in full - you are recommended to have appropriate travel insurance.
60+ days before arrival, 50% of the deposit is refundable.
30-60 days before arrival, 30% of the deposit is refundable.
11-29 day before arrival, 20% of the deposit is refundable.
Within 10 days of arrival, 0% of the deposit is refundable.
In the event of a "no show" on your part, you will become liable for the total cost of your booking and you will be sent an invoice for the total cost of your booking (less any deposit paid) which will be due for payment within 7 days.
LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL BELONGINGS
We do not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to any cash, money or jewellery or other articles of value.
In the event of negligence on the part of Number 68 which gives rise to loss of or damage to property belonging to a Guest, our limit of liability will be limited to fifty pounds sterling for any single article and subject to a total of one-hundred pounds sterling in the case of any one Guest. No liability is accepted for any consequential loss arising from loss of or damage to property of the Guest.
We do not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to motor cars or other vehicles of any kind, or any property lost in them; or horses or other live animals including pets. We refer you to and rely upon The Hotel Proprietors Act 1956.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England. In relation to any legal action or proceedings, You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts and waive any objection to proceedings in the courts on the grounds of venue or on the grounds that proceedings have been brought in an inconvenient forum.
