We have an iron and ironing board available for guest use.

How do you help the environment?

Here at Number 68, towels are changed every 4 days and the sheets once a week as a contribution towards energy saving unless you ask us to change them more regularly; just put towels in the bath and ask us if you need a change of bed linen - we will be happy to oblige.

Just taking a few simple steps when you are with us (and perhaps in your home?) will save energy; just try:

  • not leaving taps running when you clean your teeth
  • unplugging mains chargers when not in use
  • turning off lights in an empty room
  • not leaving the TV on stand-by

Light bulbs are being replaced by new energy-saving bulbs throughout the building, green waste is composted and appropriate household waste sent for recycling. FREECYCLE see our Internet Links page.
