How much? Call us now on +44 1908 221090 or email us to enquire about prices for the date(s) you wish to stay. We can offer prices including breakfast or room only. Prices vary depending on the room, length of stay, seasonal demand, private or shared bathroom etc. Comparing our prices with another Guest Houses, B and B? Please remember our prices includes, heating, FREE WiFi, the comforts of home, a friendly smile (that costs nothing after all!), warm welcome and much, much more! When can I check-in? Usually between the hours of 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm but other hours by special arrangement in advance. Late and early check-in times can usually be accommodated, just ask as and we will endeavour to meet your needs as we know that sometimes you may wish to check in early and change before you go out for a special occasion. Please let us know if your plans change or you are delayed. Breakfast? Weekdays, usually between 7.30 am - 9.00 am; weekends and Public Holidays, 8.00 am - 10.00 am. Other times may be possible for special events, e.g. an early breakfast for Silverstone events or a late breakfast after a concert; please ask us in advance of your stay if you'd like to make special arrangements for birthdays etc. We will cater according to special dietary needs, e.g. vegetarian, vegan and diabetic with advance notification. Where possible dishes contain homegrown and locally sourced organic produce, subject to availability. Where can I eat nearby? Less than 5 minutes by car to Stony Stratford or Wolverton. 10-15 minutes walk and you will arrive at the nearest restaurants, pub, takeaway or fish'n'chip shop. It's a 25 minute walk into Stony Stratford High Street where you will discover a very wide choice of eating and drinking venues. What time do I have to check out? Guests are asked to vacate their room by 10.30 am weekdays (11.00 am weekends & holidays) to allow time to prepare rooms for incoming guests. When do you close? For the Christmas and New Year holiday period (16 December 2011 to 6 January 2012 inclusive). How can I pay? By Credit/Debit card, cash, personal cheque within guarantee card limit, or PayPal. Sorry, payment methods do not include Diners, Euros or Dollars. Payments in advance can also be made by Electronic Banking Transfer, please email us for further details. Do you have Wireless Broadband? Yes, it's free and it's fast! You can use your laptop to connect or the in-house pc if it easier or more convenient. Where can I park? There are off-road car parking spaces on the drive. Bikes can be stored securely in the garage. Why do I have to complete a guest registration form? We are obliged to keep records of all guests over the age of 18 to comply with the requirements of the Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972. What is your smoking policy? Smoking is allowed in the garden and on the patio (except when food is being served). Number 68 is a no-smoking building. What refreshments are supplied in the room? On arrival, you will find a hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits; these are restocked daily. Herbal/Fruit/Decaffeinated tea or coffee is available. In the fridge is semi-skimmed milk, fresh filtered water and soft drinks - all are complimentary. Will there be towels in the bathroom? Towels are supplied for each guest, along with a face flannel and soap. A bathrobe is supplied for each guest and each bedroom contains a hairdryer. I can't manage stairs, do you have a room for me? Yes, the Stannard Suite is on the ground floor which may be easier to access and use, in the ensuite bathroom is a corner bath with power shower & a w.c. room. Is there an iron? We have an iron and ironing board available for guest use and all guest rooms have access to a trouser press. How do you help the environment? Here at Number 68, towels are changed every 4 days and the sheets once a week as a contribution towards energy saving unless you ask us to change them more regularly; just put towels in the bath and ask us if you need a change of bed linen - we will be happy to oblige.
